I've Come To Realize That- Sweeney Tood Is Amazing

But makes my tummy turn at the same time.
If you've seen it then you understand.
If you haven't you should.

I've Come To Realize That- The Schizoid Weather Sucks

I swear my allergies are going crazy.
It was 98 yesterday, and it is currently 87 at 4:15 in the afternoon.
And from what I understand it's supposed to get cooler as the week goes on.
This is so why people in California always seem to be sick.

I've Come To Realize That-This Kid Is Amazing

I stinkin' love this kid.
That's all.
The end.

Can anyone help me?

I've Come To Realize That- You Will Always Lose In Water Fights With Boys Under The Age Of 5

So today was a pretty amazing day. I got to sleep in a little bit! Woo hoo! Anyways, some of my favorite boys came over today. The pictures of them can be seen on either side of this entry.
Anyways, when Judah got to the house you better believe he noticed the new water fixture that was outside the house. That lead to the start of the long afternoon of water fighting. He's pretty good with the hose. I showed him how to make it 'rain' when the sun is shining and he thought that it was the coolest thing ever. He chased me around the yard getting me soaked from head to toe.
Then, I got to see my other boys. My other brothers. And yeah, another water fight got started. I didn't think that I was going to get wet, but Jacob made sure that I did. He was such a sneak about it too, but that is what made it that much better.
So, that leads me to where I am right now.
I'm waiting for Aaron and Jen to get home from the birthday celebration of their friend. I don't really know when that will be, I'm going to guess a little on the late side. Mainly because they were in a carpool with the birthday boy.

I've Come To Realize That- Old School Shows Rock

So after a wonderful dinner on Saturday and talks of the old school show we used to watch I thought that I should go to YouTube and see what I could find. And I about died! I found pretty much EVERY opening of shows I used to watch on Nickelodeon when I was younger. But the video that stuck out the most was the one I posted. I couldn't help but sing along, so if you find yourself singing along too, don't be ashamed! Sing loud and proud! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I've Come To Realize That- This Is My Last Week Being 22

It's hard to believe that in just seven days I will be one year older. Yes I know your probably thinking this is a lame blog or I shouldnt be excited for my birthday but I dont care.

I have changed a lot this past year and with my birthday coming up it made me think about that and see the changes that I made which were for the better.

Boy-o-boy I needed to hear the KSG lesson the kids had last night about Wisdom. It just really reaffirmed me that the choices I made were all good ones.

Ok, bb9 is doing a blog on the last HoH comp. for Big Brother, so that means back to the blog for me hitting F5 every few minutes.

I've Come To Realize That- I Am ADDICTED To Big Brother

And sadly it will come to an end within the next few days.
I check the bb9 dish blog frequently. Too much for my own good in fact. It sort of ruins the show for me when it airs, but yet even though I already know what the outcome will be, I still get nervous for them.

What on earth am I going to watch until it comes back in July?

Here's to Ry-Bread.

I've Come To Realize That- Crying Is A Good Thing

I was reading through some myspace blogs this morning and one in particular stuck out to me. The person wrote how they often find themselves crying out of nowhere or when they are alone. To this person, if you ever do read this, crying is a good thing. Trust me there are a million things that I wish I had the chance to say again and it makes me sad that the person might never hear them.

My advice, I know that it sounds lame but, write them a letter. Then you get out everything that you wanted to say. Then once you have finished the letter put it away somewhere, or put it inside of a balloon and release it up to the heavens. Then they will receive your message. Not literally, but you understand.

I hope things get better for you.

Oh, and by the way.

Happy Birthday.

I've Come To Realize That-MV Is Random

So I was driving home from work this morning and there were two random water bottles just sitting on La Paz. And not little ones but the kind that gets delivered to your house for a watercooler. Strange.

I've Come To Realize That- You Will Never Change at least not anytime soon

You know for the most part I was really optimistic about you. I thought that you were one of the greatest people that I have ever met. Now I don’t think that as much. I don’t know if I have ‘grown up’ a lot this past year and you haven’t or I was just blinded by the idea I thought was you.

It frustrates me that all you talk about is your work. Yes, I know that you love it and it’s the job that you have always wanted. But come on! That is all you ever talk about these days, and since I don’t want to talk about that with you all the time it seems to make me unworthy of your time. That really hurts and just plain sucks.

Or maybe it doesn’t.

I miss the friendship that we had, but at the moment however I do not miss you.

I feel as though you are trying the weasel your way into an event that I want to have for my birthday. It seems as the friendship only works when you want it to or there is something that you can get in return for it. Friendships don’t work that way. Friends have to meet each other in the middle, give and take, pick each other up when they fall.

You don’t do that and I hope that in time you will realize this.

And I really hope that you still have friends to help, because at the rate you are going you will run out of them because they will get tired of being treated badly by you.

I say all of this because deep, deep down I do love you and only want the best for you. I just think that you need to sit and examine your life and the way you treat people.

Don’t isolate friends, yes new friends are exciting, but don’t forget about those friends that have always been there for you. They love you too.

So that is what I have come to realize.

That would be April 30 for those of you who can't do math.

I've Come To Realize That- It Is A Small World After All

So today while I was opening I found out that the world is way smaller than I ever thought it could be.

Debbie doesn't open during breaks because she works her other job for eight hours starting at 6:30 am. So this then meant that someone else would have to come in and open with me.

Meet Katrina.

We just started talking about random things. She said that she went on a mission trip to Rwanda this past summer. My response was, "Do you go to Saddleback?" because let's face it that church, my church, always sends people there. And guess what she said that she did in fact attend.

This then lead to us talking about people that we knew and she know A LOT of the same people that I know. Two people in particular were very interesting to hear that she knew. Granted they are brothers so knowing one of them generally means you would know them both.

Oh the stories I have on one of them. Some are really funny, and one is, well, its a little strange.

So as much as people want to say that my church is big and the world is also big, I've realized this morning that both in their own rights are actually small.

I've Come To Realize That- Laser Quest Is Awesome

So last night was probably one of the greatest nights ever. Granted the picture that is supposed to be my proof isnt that large, but hey you get the general idea. Parents, siblings, everyone got involved in our night of fun. Even Amy came which was a treat for the kids to meet the person that they will be with in the Edge once promotion Sunday rolls around in June.

So we had three weeks off from KSG and we were encouraged to get together during that time. Linda suggested bowling and we got some grunts, then one of the kids had the idea of going to laser tag and the room got super excited so that was what we decided to do.

Let me just say that it way more fun than I thought it was going to be. I got schooled by the kids, but it was all in good fun.

Those kids are the absolute best group of kids that I have ever had the chance to lead and be a part of their lives.
